    Having worked in the art world for two decades, Robyn Borgelt has gained extensive knowledge of the ever-fluctuating art market. Robyn’s expertise lies in advising on exclusive secondary market art while assisting in curating some of the most prestigious collections in the United States. Her area of expertise is 19th and 20th century American Artists, with a focus on American Modernist artists, specifically the “Stieglitz Circle,” American Abstract Expressionist, and Post-War female artists. She has comprehensive market knowledge of Georgia O’Keeffe and has advised in the buying and selling of some of the most important paintings by the artist privately and as a representative at auction.

    Robyn began her professional career at Christie’s Auction House in New York City. She then moved into the gallery sector working at Michael Altman Fine Art & Advisory Services, LLC, focusing on American 19th and early 20th century artists. During her 10 years with the gallery Robyn became Managing Partner and Director of Sales. In 2020 she moved to Santa Fe, NM and joined Gerald Peters Gallery as Director of private sales, focusing on selling secondary market pictures. She left the gallery in 2024 to begin work as an independent art advisor, becoming a certified member of ISA (International Society of Appraisers) and USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices) compliant. Robyn holds an Masters Degree in American Fine and Decorative Art from the University of Manchester, UK through the Sotheby’s Institute of Art program, and wrote her dissertation on Jacob Lawrence and his impact on American Modernism.

    Julia Leveille has over a decade of experience in the fine art auction industry and provides white-glove art collection management services for both new and established collectors. She serves clients in all aspects of collecting and selling art with a commitment to integrity, connoisseurship, and professionalism. Throughout her career, Julia has cultivated a profound expertise in 19th and 20th-century art, particularly in Impressionist and Modern Art.

    After beginning her career in the auction industry at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago, Julia spent nine years at Sotheby’s New York, where she held the role of Vice President, Specialist in the Impressionist & Modern Art department and Head of the Modern Day Auctions. During this time, she developed an eye for quality, connoisseurship and deep knowledge of the global art market, helping clients navigate the complexities of acquiring, managing, and curating important collections. Beyond her role in the auctions, she has brokered six and seven-figure private sales of works by Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Dorothea Tanning and other Modern masters.

    A graduate of Wellesley College with a double major in Art History and French, Julia now resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she serves clients across the Southwest, New York, and beyond.
